These are not just fancy numbers I pulled out of thin air, this is actually the insight gained by LinkedIn after surveying 6,607 employees from 18 countries.
Let that sink in for a second…
LinkedIn, the largest professional social network, polled thousands of employees from different countries and different cultures and they all unanimously gave the same answer.
They wanted more education and training in their fields of expertise.
From my experience as an outsourcer and from insights given by my colleagues, I agree 100%.
You see, investing in training is more than just educating your VA...
Training your VA is a token of trust, a sign that you want your VA to grow along with your business. Quality training gives your VA the kind of confidence that effectively wipes out the ‘Disappearing VA’ phenomenon.
An untrained VA will get discouraged when they make mistakes. It will only be a matter of time before they lose confidence and suddenly ‘disappear’. For employers like you, you might get too frustrated with their work output and fire them instead.
